That a person's actions and personal history tell you more about the person than anything they or anyone else could say about them. That being said, if this is your first introduction to me; who better to agrandize and shamelessly self or otherwise promote myself than... well, me!

I am sure that there are probably, at this point, two questions poised and ready to be asked: "Who are you and what's up with this site?" Well, I am Shayne and in the context of this encounter, a mixed media artist. I earn my daily cake working as a photographer, a camera operator and a video editor and I have put this site together to showcase some of my work and of course for your viewing enjoyment. Now, before you go getting the wrong idea though, there is very little philanthropy here; this site is mostly self-serving in that I'm trying to pitch myself to you and romance you into wanting to work with me.

So that's my elevator pitch; if however, you need or want to know more, you can continue reading and that's surely the best way to accomplish that particluar goal.

I live my professional and personal life by four basic principles: Honour, Integrity, Respect and Discipline.

The four cornerstones to how I do things means that I do what I say I will do and I am who I say I am. I never pretend to be something I'm not.

Now I realize that probably sounds like the kind of thing a guy who is too serious would say. As far as how I conduct my personal affairs I am very serious. However, and this is a big however, I also believe that a person needs to approach life's celebrations and challenges with both levity and childlike wonder.

I like to laugh, enjoy myself, have a good time and I definitely prefer to work with people who are of a similar disposition

I have a scale that I use for day rates and project rates but if your project is of a personal nature, a concept, something on spec, or chartiable or humanitarian in nature I am very flexible. I am very approachable so talk to me and we'll see if we can work something out.

I work as a freelancer so my availability is strictly based on who first needs me when and where; or in easier terms, on a first request first served basis.

I always have personal projects on the go but also very much enjoy working on other people's creative projects as well.
